What is your favorite weird food combo?
I just read this article on weird food combinations people eat, mostly centered around peanut butter, and it reminded me of some of my weird food combinations that I eat on occasion.
There's the peanut butter based ones, of course. Peanut butter and banana sandwich (banana sliced in circles, not lengthwise, please!). Peanut butter and bacon sandwiches. A spoolful of peanut butter rolled in chocolate chips (instant peanut butter cup).
From Mark S., I found I like sprinkling Parmesean cheese on popcorn, and tossing in raisins.
And the odd things I'll put ketchup on. Scrambled eggs. Macaroni and cheese. A slice of bread--ketchup sandwich!
And the other odd food combos. I like mixing mashed potatoes and sweet corn. Apple sauce and cottage cheese.
A family one I got from my father: crumble up a handful of saltine crackers in a bowl, pour milk on, and eat like cereal.
