Things.
Bleah. Woke up with a headache this morning, and was coughing trying to get to sleep last night. I hope I am not getting sick with something.
Spent last Saturday morning trying to upgrade a few systems at work.
thudthwacker did all the heavy lifting on the Solaris TimeZone updates before the DST change. Since the weather was nice,
yolen and I took the light rail up to Bergenline in Union City and wandered around a bit Saturday afternoon.
Had the urge to listen to Imaginos (Blue Oyster Cult) this morning. Forgot how much I like this album.
Counting the days until LunaCon. Nine.
Lawrence Watt-Evans has finished serializing The Vondish Ambassador. I enjoyed it, but there seemed to be less action/decision making on the part of the main character and more being pushed around by events, than other Ethshar books.
Found a bunch of my old notes from gaming, and have been scanning in some and adding to the game wiki. It's funny, I found some NPCs that I created that are older than some of the people on my f-list, maybe 25 years old, back from in high school when I was using _The Fantasy Trip_, before I converted things to GURPS. It is also interesting how some stuff, I look at and go "oh, yeah, I remember that", and other things I go "where the heck did that come from!?" Makes me feel a bit older.
Still working on plans to go visit my parents some time this month.
Still need to edit & post dance photos from January, and P-Cult photos from February.
I need to finish some books. I think I'm in the middle of five different ones. One downside to being on PaperBackSwap is that I have been accumulating books I want to read faster than I have been reading them! My 'in' pile has to be a full shelf by now.
My new boots have been very nice to have on snowy days like today. My Converse All*Stars were getting a bit slick. Still, I am looking forward to spring.
Made a new icon from an old self portrait.
Found a bunch of vector graphics map symbols from the National Park Service, some of which I may also turn into icons. I've been playing around with Inkscape, which is a nifty vector graphics package (like Adobe Illustrator). It's what I used to make my new icon.
Hope you are all having fun!
