Music.

I've found myself listening to a bunch of Glam Rock and similar vintage material the past week or so. Mostly it started with re-listening to the Velvet Goldmine soundtrack [which I find so good], which lead me to listening to some Brian Eno, Velvet Underground, David Bowie, and Uriah Heep.

What have you listening to this week?

I'm a bit embarrassed to say I don't know any of that music you mentioned. Of course I've heard of some of them, but I tend to stick with the stuff I know I like.

It's frustrating that I don't have a lot time to explore new music. I add a few songs to my playlist to listen to in my car every few weeks, and rotate my music.

What are a few songs that you recommend I listen to from your list above? I'll add them and let you know what I think.

Here is one of my favourites.. Hands of time by Groove Armada

I'm glad you liked the song. I love Groove Armada, and they do some great collaborations like this one with Ritchie Havens. He's got a soulful voice. It's cool that he lived so close to you!

Thank you for the music choices, I will check them out.

Hey, so I've definitely decided that this music is not for me. I gave it a try, I really did... first I listened to the songs on Spotify, a few times (all except the David Bowie one as I know that one), and then I watched the YouTube links you sent. The ones with videos of themselves were definitely more interesting, and I enjoyed having the visuals more than the music alone. Love some of the hairdos! But overall, I can't really see myself singing along to these. Thank you though, I enjoy finding new music, and it's great to learn about what other people enjoy too.
