I had a nice entry all typed up last night, about the weekend and some grumbling about installing the latest Mozilla, and moz must have heard me, cause it crashed when I went to do a post-preview. So I went to bed instead.
So here's a recap.
Friday night, I went to a friend's birthday celebration in New Brunswick. I crashed at
the_malum's place, and on Saturday we went to Ubercon.
I saw a few old friends at Ubercon, bought a few games (San Juan, Creatures & Cultists, Berserker, and, on a whim, a pack of Pirates of the Spanish Main), and played a few. I also got to chat with Randy Milholland of Something*Positive and his girlfriend, and bought a piece of original art.
Sunday, I decided to check out the big tag sale that was happening in Central Park. When I finally got there, around 3pm, the line to get in was at least 4 blocks long. "Forget that!" said I, and proceeded to have a nice walk through the park and ended up at Columbus Circle, where I visited the Borders' bookstore.
When I got back to Hoboken, I stopped at the grocery to pick up ground beef and spaghetti, to fulfill a craving I had been having.
My grumbles about Mozilla: the new install I did seems to not be using emacs-style keybindings in text entry areas (ctrl-a : beginning of line, ctrl-e : end of line, ctrl-d : delete character, etc) which lead me to hitting keys and have them do the wrong thing. I'll have to solve that before I am happy with the new version. The crash as well means I think I'll revert to the older version for now.
Need to pay bills, do laundry, ...
