Jul. 8th, 2008 03:19 pmI'm not sure which I find more disturbing, that they made Starship Troopers 3 or that it's coming out on blu-ray before a huge number of movies I'd rather see, like Conan the Barbarian. Or even Flash Gordon. Heck, I'd take Beastmaster.
You know, if I ran a movie studio, I'd start re-releasing older movies theatrically. Call it "RetroVision" or something, and once a month, I would do a nation-wide, widely advertised theatrical release of some past blockbuster. I'd do this because I know *I'd* pay to go see Conan on the big screen again.
