Currently the bidding is over $1000. If I were a New York company who could afford to license the song for an ad campaign, I'd snap it up. Heck, if I were Tommy Heath (the singer of the band), I buy it so I could resell it with the commercial use rights to the song.

I think having that number would be more trouble than it's worth for a single person; you're right, a company would be best.
