Weird.

My mother just emailed me about a double murder near where I grew up. Apparently a son killed his parents, and then was killed by the police. 1010WINS has a report -- except it's wrong in that Steven was 36, not 46. I know this because I was in the same high school class as his brother Theodore, and in fact Steve's freshman photo is in my Senior yearbook (I just looked it up). Also, my freshman year of college my RA was their older brother Fred.

I just find it odd that I peripherally know the people involved. I even talked to the parents once, when I called looking to get Fred's phone number.

I can't help wondering why, what would drive someone to murder their parents, at 36.
