Long time no update.

Not going to Frolicon this year. :( It made sense at the time I made the decision, but I still feel a bit sad about it. All y'all have extra fun for me!

yolen and I spent last weekend going to visit my parents. We also took a short trip down to New Hope, PA. That was fun, but cut short by the fact that yolen stepped on some uneven sidewalk and managed to twist her bad ankle. Still, we had a good time.
Last night I had the urge for Indian food, and so tried getting delivery from Rasoi for the first time. (We've eaten there in person, I've just never gotten delivery from them.) The good news: the food was delicious. The bad news: out building intercom/door buzzer system is broken again. But still, Indian delivery food == good.
Picked up some baking supplies, so I'll need to bake soon. Turns out we already had a bag of whole wheat flour, so now we have two. I'm open to suggestions.
I also was able to get a couple glass gallon jugs from my folks'. I had apparently thrown all mine out between the move and an attempt to clean the front room. So I went to work starting a couple batches of melomel. One is pure blueberry juice with 2 3/4lbs of honey, the other a blueberry/apple mix with 2lbs. I'm using champagne yeast on both of them.
