I was looking at my bookmarks, and I got a bit of inspiration. I have a *lot* of web pages bookmarked. Many of them have even link-rotted away at this point. But a number are still there, and still interesting. So my plan is this: once-per-weekday (and maybe even weekends, we'll see), I'll a link or links to something I bookmarked, perhaps with a bit of explanation.

Today's link is:
The David Rumsey Map Collection. Lots and lots of cool old maps, zoomable to high resolution, and you can even download things (though you have to register to be able to download the highest resolution maps).

I like the idea of sharing bookmarks with people here on lj. It's fun to see what our friends pick out. :)
