Alma Libre Bookstore in Puerto Morelos, Mexico. My brother and I were vacationing in Mexico, back in 2000, and exploring the side roads of the Yucatan and Quintana Roo in our rental car. One of the places we stumbled across was the small village of Puerto Morelos, just south of Cancun. And what did we find there? To our delight, a used bookstore, with a large stock of English language books no less! I don't think that I am likely to be down that way anytime soon, but sometime last year, I was reminiscing about our trip, and went looking on line. Sure enough, the bookstore is still in business, and what also caught my eye was that they are also managing rentals. Sometimes when I feel stressed, I spend a few minutes looking over the rentals, and day dreaming.
