Random update

Short random bits, no particular order:
I have a headache. I think I'm somewhat over the cold/allergy thing I had going on over the weekend.
Short review on Mission Kashmir: Eh. If you want a better Bollywood flick dealing with terrorism, I suggest Dil Se or even Maachis.
I accomplished next to nothing on my to-do list from this weekend. On top of that, I totally forgot about a social dinner Sunday night until it was past time. I hadn't committed to the dinner, so it's not like I canceled plans, but it still would have been nice to go.
I need to do laundry. You can tell this by the nice slacks I am wearing today. Usually, my outfits are jeans and t-shirts. When I run out of clean clothing, my wardrobe takes an upswing as I start wearing my more dressy clothing. Slacks, button-down shirts, and so on. I've always managed to get laundry done before I reached the suit.
I need new sneakers. My old ones were pretty well worn out, so I left them in the trash in Panama rather than pack them back in my luggage to haul home from vacation.
I need to get cash. I used my emergency $20 I keep folded in my wallet to cover the $5 for lunch, so I need to get to the ATM and replenish it.
I don't think I've mentioned it here, but Songfight is cool. Each week, the Fightmaster comes up with a title, and musicians have one week to write, record, and upload a song with that title. Anyone can listen to the entries, and vote for a favorite. I learned of it via
king_duncan, who participates there, as Level Nivelo. It's a neat place to find new music.
Another cool thing: the Random Personal Picture Finder (possibly not safe for work, depending), which generates a random digital camera picture file name, and feeds it into Google's image search, giving you a glimpse of hundreds of other people's personal lives. For some reason, I find it fascinating. I spent hours playing with it on Sunday (it generates a new random file name when you reload the page), following the links of interesting images, and wandering around sites I would have never seen otherwise.
You know, I think writing all this helped with my headache. It seems less now.
