Rather than a red/blue map of the election, check out this by-county shades of purple map.
On the other hand, if you are a divider, check out someone's wishful thinking. Also, several people have noted the coincidental similarity of the election outcome votes with the pre-civil war free states vs. slave states. Again, looking at the purple map, I doubt things are as black and white (or red and blue) as that. But still, interesting.
